The creation of this adorable, beaded creature served as an impromptu, late-night project while working an unexpected double shift on a pediatric hematology/oncology unit in a Syracuse, NY hospital. Days later it helped a teenager get through a stem cell harvest complication. The events that followed gave the LUCKY LIZARD it's magic. LUCKY LIZARD recipients have reported their own stories about the positive vibes it seems to hold in it's colorful beaded body.

LUCKY LIZARDS have been deemed essential by the Child Life Staff at Herman & Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. A number of parents of sick children have told LUCKY LIZARD STUDIOS Founder, Caryn "CJ" Jaffe, they believed the LUCKY LIZARD helped to save their child's life.
