Sometimes the best things aren’t planned—they just come along for the ride.
Tag-Alongs are the perfect pocket-sized reminder that someone cares. Each pair began as part of a product idea that didn’t quite go as expected. During an early (and memorable!) attempt at creating a Lucky Lizard pin, things went hilariously wrong—enough to make nurse CJ consider calling it a day.
So she did.
Two medium-sized Lucky Lizards went into her pocket… and the rest is part of their story.
Days later, while unloading the dryer, CJ discovered the missing pair tucked safely in the pocket of her clean jeans —“like they tagged along for the ride.” It felt like more than coincidence. It felt like a message.
Inspired by that unexpected little adventure—and by the loving support of family members who once “tagged along” during CJ’s marathon and Ironman journeys—these special pairs were given a name and a purpose.
Tag-Alongs (AFTR – Along For The Ride) were born.
